Elevator Pitch No. 2

I'll be honest, I felt a little silly doing this assignment. I had to put a chair on my bed just to get this shot -- balancing it was the best part. However, after a few warm-up takes, I found my groove. Thankfully I've never been one to be shy about public speaking, especially when it's about something I love.
Standing up to give this pitch is definitely a game-changer. I even fixed the lighting in my room a bit to make sure everything looked just right in the video. I wish these pitches could be done in person because I'm definitely less awkward in person compared to in a video!

  1. Awh, this idea is so cute, and I really love how honest and eccentric you were on both your blog post and video. I can really see your personality shine through with both pieces, and I really admire that. Kudos to you because this stuff isn't really that easy.
I love the fact that you're offering a product that is tangible, instead of just an idea in the air.

  2. Hello Erica,
this was a great pitch, you looked very confident in front of the camera. Furthermore, I believe it takes so much courage in order to sell your own art-work because of the criticism you might receive, but I absolutely love the idea and you did a great job. I actually envy you, I would love to be able to speak in front of a camera or an audience without panicking. You can actually see how nervous I was while I recorded my pitch. 3. Hi Erica,
I really liked your Elevator Pitch! You were really confident, and able to explain your business idea on detail. Personally, I am really into personalized gifts, and think that hand-made gifts have a really special value. I really liked that you showed some samples, as it gives the customer a better idea of what exactly it is what you do, and what they can expect from their product. Overall, I think that your business idea is really refreshing and that you did a wonderful job recording your elevator pitch!
