Business Opportunity and Solution: "ParkIt"
ParkIt is an app that shows maps of parking lots in your areas. The maps indicate which parking spots are vacant and which ones are not. A technology system powered by satellites and WI-FI gathers data on vacant and occupied parking spots to inform the consumer where they can and cannot park. Hey! So I have definitely felt the pain of not finding an easy parking spot on campus. I think your idea will not only be helpful to a lot of commuters, but I think it will also lower the incidences of car accidents due to people getting frustrated about not finding parking. My pitch was about health and nutrition, but the overall idea of trying to save people time is something we both incorporated. Would have been nice to see the video, especially considering it was required before sharing and declaring, but hopefully you put it up soon.

ReplyDeleteI think you chose a great opportunity for your first pitch. The oppurtonity you chose is a valid problem with a feasible solution ,if not a little more adventurous. I would love to see you actually deliver your pitch.
